The Edmonton Oilers may be without one of their key forwards Monday night, with the status of Ryan Nugent-Hopkins uncertain for Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final.

Oilers head coach Kris Knoblauch said Sunday that the team thinks Nugent-Hopkins will be available against the Florida Panthers but will be a game-time decision, according to Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman.

The 32-year-old didn't practice Sunday for unknown reasons, and Jeff Skinner took his place on the top line alongside Connor McDavid and Corey Perry.

Nugent-Hopkins has been a notable contributor on Edmonton's run to the final. He's recorded five goals and 18 points in 18 games this postseason while serving as a crucial member of both the Oilers' powerplay and penalty kill. He registered 25:45 of ice time during the Game 2 double-overtime loss to the Panthers.
