Louisville had a big day Sunday, picking up commitments from former Oregon guard Jackson Shelstad and Kansas forward Flory Bidunga, a source told ESPN's Pete Thamel.

Considered one of the top players in the portal, Bidunga averaged 13.3 points, nine rebounds, and 1.5 assists this past season.

Duke was also rumored to be interested in adding Bidunga, who was one of five finalists for the Kareem Abdul-Jabbar Center of the Year award.

Shelstad averaged 15.6 points and 4.9 assists this past campaign.

Louisville was aggressive in pitching its vision for assembling a championship-caliber squad, Thamel adds.

The Cardinals were eliminated by Michigan State in the Sweet 16 of this year's NCAA Tournament.
